A delicious take on the well-loved meatloaf with so much local flavour packed into each bite. The meatloaf can be eaten warm or at room temperature. When sliced, it makes a wonderful sandwich filling and also works great in lunchboxes.
100 g red onion — finely chopped
15 ml garlic — cloves, finely chopped
4 tsp turmeric
500 g beef mince
3 eggs — large
5 bay leaves
SALSA
2 bananas — chopped

15 ml fresh coriander — finely chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
