Brik Danouni By Treats Homemade


One of the most well-known traditional Tunisian recipes are the briks.
There are many varieties of the briks depending on the pastry or the stuffing.
I suggest “Brik Danouni”; beef-stuffed turnovers, oven-baked or fried, are usually presented as starters or appetizers.
1 cup flour (125g)
200ml of warm water (or a little more)
The Stuffing
200g of ground beef
1 boiled egg, shredded
Shredded cheese
Chopped parsley
Chopped onion
Olives, pitted and cut
1 egg, beaten
