Ghana Emudro Drink By Adome Home Cooking


- Pour the chopped ginger into the saucepan
- Add the sugar
- Add the cloves
- Add water
- Boil for about 30 -40 minutes
- Allow to cool and blend
- Strain the ginger mixture to remove the chaff
- Strain two more times to get rid of any ( if more water is need for the straining, then boiled water should be used as part of the preservation process)
- Squeeze the lemon into the drink
- Pour into a jug and put in the refrigerator to cool. Serve when chilled( shake jug before serving)
