Ji Mmiri Oku (Special Yam Pepper Soup for New Mums) By The Pretend Chef

Ji Mmiri Oku is a special yam pepper soup prepared specifically for new Mums. It is believed to help cleanse the uterus and help it contract after childbirth. Pregnant women or those trying to conceive (both the man and the woman) should stay away from Ji Mmiri Oku because of the risk of premature labor (in the case of pregnancy) and because it may prevent fertilization and implantation (for those trying to conceive). Eat the ordinary Yam Pepper Soup or the Assorted Meat Pepper Soup instead.
