Maraq Fahfah (Somali Soup) By CulturEatz


Maraq Fahfah is a traditional Somali recipe for a meat-based soup with vegetables and potatoes, and flavoured with chilli, lemon juice, and coriander.
450 g lamb goat or beef meat, cubed
1.5 l water
3 medium potatoes peeled and chopped
2 carrots chopped
1/2 head of cabbage chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 small onion chopped
2 garlic cloves chopped
2 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
1 green chilli finely chopped
juice of 1/2 lemon
