Moroccan-Spiced Lamb Appetizer By My Gourmet Connection


Pastry-wrapped bites of ground lamb seasoned with Moroccan-style spices, fresh mint and parsley and served with a dipping sauce of Greek yogurt and mango chutney make a delicious, easy appetizer.
¾ lb ground lamb
2 large shallots, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
⅓ cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp salt
⅛ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 sheet frozen puff pastry dough, thawed
1 large egg, lightly beaten
Pinch of cayenne
