These spicy and delicious Nigerian spring rolls are an essential favorite of Nigerian small chops (hors d’oeuvres) commonly served in Nigerian parties and events.

 If you are Nigerian or have attended any fancy Nigerian wedding reception, you know that one of the first things you are served is small chops, and an essential component of small chops are Nigerian spring rolls.

  1 lb Ground turkey (could be substituted with ground beef or ground chicken)
 1 medium carrot(shredded)
 1⁄2 small cabbage (shredded)
 1⁄2 medium onion (sliced)
 1 clove garlic(chopped)
 2 tbsp oil
 25 spring roll sheets(medium)
 2 tsp soy sauce
 1 tsp salt
 1 tsp black pepper
 1 tsp cayenne pepper(hot pepper)
 Oil (for deep frying)
Spring roll sealing paste
 1 tbsp water
